Waiting to Emerge captures a room in transition, standing at the quiet threshold of creativity. The space is nearly empty, save for a taboret and an easel that appears almost embedded in the wall—a spectral presence waiting to be made real. Much like an image waiting to emerge from a blank canvas, the easel suggests that the art is already there, inherent in the architecture, just waiting for the artist’s hand to bring it into focus.
