Notes
The final chapter in a trilogy of a familiar New Orleans threshold. After the Rain revisits the architecture of Welcome Home and Mid City Mystery, introducing a solitary figure to the scene. Standing barefoot at the top of the stairs, a woman looks out into the distance as if responding to a knock from a visitor who has already vanished. The informal intimacy of the moment is framed by a side gate newly adorned with traditional fleur-de-lis, turning a familiar facade into a quiet, unresolved narrative of longing and timing.
