The poet Amanda Gorman was so inspiring this week! She reminded me of the power of words. So, with the help of Amanda’s muse, I wrote some stories for each image in the Character Development exhibition.

Farnsworth: “He’s awake to the past and dreaming of the future.”

Julie in Progress: ”She’s a work in progress. Who isn’t, after all?”

Coco in a Cap : “Purple is the new red, white and blue.”

Claire: “Claire is a stranger in a familiar land.”

Cecilia: “She just broke Simon and Garfunkel’s heart.”

Diva: “‘I’m well read,’ she said.”
