I had a stroke this week and I am okay. I just wanted all my friends to know this. I really am okay. It was a scarey week but with love and support from friends, family, co-workers, the Ada County Paramedics, and the hospital staff and doctors at St. Al’s, I am now relaxing at home, fully functional..

Today I am thinking about all the stuff that I’m grateful for.

Over the coming days and weeks and months I’ll be thinking about what I can learn from all this and how to improve myself and lower my risk for THAT to happen again. One of the best things about this whole week has been all the texts and cards and LOVE that I’ve received. I love you too and am looking forward to seeing you soon.
