The next show by the Treasure Valley Artists’ Alliance is called “Metamorphosis,” opening in March. I haven’t ever made a triptych and I haven’t told a story in my work in years. So, I thought I’d tackle both and make one last collage before returning to painting.

This piece focuses pretty obviously on spirituality. Well, it’s obvious to me, anyway. This is a subject that often lies just right below the surface of many of my images. Why is it so hard for me to talk about this? I feel like I just told my big secret. Well, it’s about time.
